Elkhart is known for it's luscious growth of flora and fauna in the Spring, including the blue bell flowers. To celebrate this time, the Elkhart Historical Society (EHS) hosts the Wild Weekends-Flower and Bird Walks in the private Nature Reserve sections on Elkhart Hill. As you stroll through and admire the beauty, you will also learn some of the rich Native American folklore and history that lies here.

They take place each Saturday in April. Also the EHS has partnered with the Wild Hare Cafe to offer the option of a delicious meal to the afternoon event.
