Middletown & New Holland, IL Knapp Library and Museum (Middletown) -  Middletown is the oldest town in Logan County, founded in 1832. Like many towns in Logan County, Middletown was also a frequent stop by Abraham Lincoln as he traveled throughout Logan County.
